1. Introduction

Welcome to grndIN ("we", "our", or "us"). grndIN is a sports networking platform designed to connect athletes, coaches, and clubs — helping sports professionals build visibility, discover opportunities, and elevate their careers. By downloading the grndIN app or accessing grndin.in, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use grndIN. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent. By creating an account, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements. We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts where eligibility cannot be confirmed.

3. Account Registration

1. Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account and to keep it up to date.
2. Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
3. One Account: You may not create multiple accounts to evade restrictions or misrepresent your identity.
4. Account Types: grndIN supports different user roles (Athlete, Coach, Club). You are responsible for selecting the role that accurately represents you and for the content you post under that role.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you post on grndIN, including photos, videos, performance data, and text ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant grndIN a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, sub-licensable license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content on the platform and in connection with promoting our services.

You represent and warrant that your User Content does not violate any third-party rights (including copyright, trademark, or privacy rights) and complies with all applicable laws.

5. Community Guidelines & Prohibited Uses

grndIN is built on respect for the sports community. You agree not to:

• Post content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, harassing, threatening, or defamatory.
• Upload sexually explicit material or content involving minors.
• Impersonate any person, athlete, coach, club, or organisation.
• Post false or misleading performance statistics, credentials, or affiliations.
• Spam other users with unsolicited messages or solicitations.
• Use automated bots, scrapers, or other tools to access grndIN without our written permission.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or our systems.
• Use grndIN to build a competing product or service.

We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate any account that violates these guidelines, at our sole discretion.

6. Events and Trials

Coaches and clubs may post events, trials, and opportunities on grndIN. grndIN acts solely as a platform connecting parties and is not responsible for:

• The accuracy of event or trial details posted by third parties.
• Any agreements, payments, or outcomes resulting from connections made on grndIN.
• The conduct of any athlete, coach, or club before, during, or after an event.

You are solely responsible for verifying the legitimacy of any opportunity and for exercising appropriate caution before attending any event.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of grndIN — including our name, logo, design, and software — are owned by grndIN and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.

8. Third-Party Services

grndIN integrates with third-party services including push notifications (OneSignal), analytics (Firebase, PostHog), error monitoring (Sentry), and cloud infrastructure (Railway). Your use of grndIN is also subject to the terms and privacy policies of these providers. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to grndIN immediately and without prior notice if you breach these Terms or if we determine that your conduct is harmful to other users or to grndIN. You may delete your account at any time from within the app. Upon termination, your right to use grndIN ceases immediately, though certain provisions of these Terms (including content licence grants and limitation of liability) survive termination.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

grndIN is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Use of grndIN is at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, grndIN shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Your use of or inability to use grndIN.
• Any content posted by other users on the platform.
• Unauthorised access to or alteration of your data.
• Any outcomes from connections, events, or trials facilitated through grndIN.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page and notify you via the app or email if the changes are material. Your continued use of grndIN after the updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
